In Which States Would I Qualify for Medicinal Marijuana? ?
Question by risks_(with a pessimist): In which states would I qualify for medicinal marijuana? ?
I live in Michigan and while at my latest appointment with my psychiatrist who helps me with me sever anxiety, we were discussing proposal one passing in Michigan to allow for some medicinal marijuana to be used. He mentioned that if the law covered more types of patients to be covered, I would be a perfect candidate because I should be on Kolonopin, but I have an adverse reaction to it (I can not even speak or stand up while on it I get so tired and dizzy) so I am on xanex instead, which is not really the right thing for me at all, and it makes me throw up. But, in michigan only those with chronic illnesses, chronic pain, or seizures get it. In which of the 13 states who have legalized medicinal marijuana would someone with extreme anxiety qualify? I know that california covers that, but where else?
NY State Divorce…Should I Get a Lawyer?
Question by katykat0171: NY State Divorce…Should I get a lawyer?
My husband for 6 1/2 years wants a divorce because I relapsed on drugs 2 months ago. I went to treatment and am now back in NY with over 60 days clean and will continue to not use drugs.
I have not worked most of our relationship and stayed home being a housewife and going to college throughout the years which I haven’t completed because my husband makes too much money for me to get financial aid.
In the begining we dated and I found out his visa was about to expire and I wanted to keep him in my life so I married him. At first my parents helped us with money until he completed college with financial aid and got a good paying job, 3 years later.Meanwhile, I got into drugs (crack, alcohol, marjiuana) and was in and out of rehabs until march 2006 I had two years clean until march 2008.
My husband and I are best friends and still live together and want to end things as comfortable as possible but we definately want a divorce within this year. Should I get a lawyer,Alimony?
My 19 Year Old Son Is a Heroine Addict While I’m Still Paying Child Support NJ?
Question by Kimoko: My 19 year old son is a heroine addict while I’m still paying child support NJ?
My 19 year old son is a heroine addict while I’m still paying child support . I don’t have custody of my child, but i pay child support for him to begin community college. Obviously, he can’t continue school under his conditions. So does anyone know if there is a way for me to legally stop paying child support in order to have money to help my child get into a good rehab center. The amount of child support i’m paying prohibits me from fully supporting my son. Is there anyway i can bring his heroine addiction to court for a reason to stop paying child support.I live in NJ.
Please refrain from complaining about the child support cutoff being at age eighteen in your state. It is simply not the same case in NJ.
I was never married to the mother of my son, so there were no divorce decree’s to look upon.
My son needs help which he can find at a rehabilitation center, and he’s wasting time ” going to college.” ( he’s only attended twice.)
Drug Rehab Options for Unemployed and No Income Addicts?
Question by m l: Drug rehab options for unemployed and no income addicts?
One of my friends since childhood is addicted to numerous substances and careening down a path of self destruction and co-dependence with an abusive man. I’ve suggested rehab to deal with her addictions and she seemed slightly receptive. However she cited lack of money as her main reason for not going to a rehab. She is 26, unemployed (she recently lost a job she had for only 2 weeks due to use), unmarried and located in MS. Her mother provides her with some funds to live on.
I have located some sites via searching but the information I’ve come across seems vague or phishy or not applicable to the state she resides in.
Thank you in advance.
Clarification: I need FREE assistance program information. I’m aware someone else could pay for it but there is no one in her life that can afford it (e.g. myself) or would be willing to (i.e. her family). Her parents have ample income but are not willing to help her. They are more or less cutting her off without first attempting to get her into treatment.
Drug Rehab Facilities in Las Vegas?
Question by Lucy: Drug Rehab Facilities in Las Vegas?
Does anyone know of an in patient drug rehab facility in Las Vegas that offers free services or low cost services for non insured patients. My sister is a drug addict and my parents are in need of obtaining medical care but do not have any money. I’ve heard there might be some Christian facilies that offer low cost services.
