Question by Jelly Bean: How do I report prescription abuse, selling & doctor shopping?
How do I report someone I care about for prescription abuse, prescription selling & going to more than one doctor for pain meds without them knowing about each other. She needs help & a reality check but I don’t want to call the police. I called one of the pharmacy where she goes & they told me there was nothing they could do about it because it was hearsay. I would have to call the police & tell them what she gets, who she sells it to, stuff I don’t know all the details about. & please don’t tell me to mind my own business, this is my business, she’s messing up everyone’s lives around her including small children.
I expect answers that tell me where to call. I’ve heard of people getting reported to their doctors without police involvement.
