I’m especially interested in finding one that administers buprenorphine instead of methadone. I’ve heard that buprenorphine is better and that patients will be able to get off the medication easily, as opposed to methadone that usually becomes a life long regimen.

I recently recieved some shocking news that my partner has a tumor and im not dealing with it well. I cannot focus on studies or anything else in life.
Its only been a week since I was given the news so it is still fresh in my mind but it’s killing me.
The cancer isn’t even bad, I am just so terrified and don’t know how to snap out of this.
I will be happy and then suddenly burst into tears and I constantly have reoccuring dreams about him telling me.. what can I do? Ive tried talking about it, it helps but doesnt stop the pain, how can I pull myself together over something this major in our lives.

If someone goes to a drug rehabilitation centre for treatment willingly, would they receive a criminal record for drug possession/dealing?

Absolutely not. Your participation in drug treatment is confidential and the treatment center will not reveal or discuss your participation there with anybody. You enjoy the same doctor/patient confidentiality there as you enjoy at a doctors office.

I’m due to give birth next week and I am no longer with the father because of his heavy drinking. I want him to be in my sons life as a positive role model but I am scared for him to have private visitations. How am I supposed to provide proof to the courts of his alcoholism? And will they order him to get treatment before he has unsupervised visitations? He does have 2 DUI’s, drug charges and a stay in rehab, but they are over 10 years old.
