Yes it is a must, the withdrawals symptoms from heroin happens because the body stops producing serotonin and they usually feel severe physical pain. Naltroxene is used to treat heroin withdrawal.
Besides of that addiction is a whole wide area people often need help controlling their addictive personality, they often tend to self destruct when under severe stress, often heroin addicts when abstaining from heroin, and have gone through treatment, they turn to other drugs after.

Is Narconon an Effective/safe/trust Worthy Rehabilitation Process?

Question by Erin: Is Narconon an effective/safe/trust worthy rehabilitation process?
Recently my parents sent my brother to a Narconon rehabilitation center in Michigan and now that he’s been there for a few days we found out it was connected to Scientology. We’ve discovered it has had a lot of controversy (like being a fraud for getting members) and he’s had some complaints of odd treatment like staring into someone’s eyes for thirty minutes. Before we sent him there they even said they weren’t Scientologists.

Is Marijuana an “ok” Drug?

Question by Amber: Is marijuana an “ok” drug?
Some people think it’s ok to smoke weed, and a lot of times it’s socially accepted. What do you think?

Best answer:

Answer by superrelax
i’ve smoked herb for a long time. im healthy and successful…and i won’t be dying of cigarette-related cancer anytime soon, either. know the facts: there are zero reported marijuana induced deaths per year. AND i’ve never tried any other drugs in my life. so, if you want to label anything as dangerous, label the ones that warrant that label: alcohol and cigarettes. not to mention the people who find a better alternative to prescription drugs in marijuana to relieve pain caused by such things as cancer, glaucoma, MS…the list can go on.

I Have a Drug Problem and Need to Find a Rehab That Offers Free Help or Financial Support, Please Help.?

Question by Candy S: I have a drug problem and need to find a rehab that offers free help or financial support, please help.?
I have been addicted to prescription painkillers since I was 17 years old. I am now 24. I can’t afford those expensive rehabilitation centers but I am absolutely desperate for help. I can’t quit on my own and my addiction is controlling my life. I want to get my life back on track so if anyone knows of any place (preferably in Kentucky or close by) that offers a program that lasts at least a couple of months and financial support or small payments please let me know. You don’t know how much it would be appreciated. Thanks.

How Will I Be Able to Find Substance Abuse Treatment Centers in Montville, New Jersey?

Question by carlee 3xf: How will I be able to find substance abuse treatment centers in Montville, New Jersey?
Ever since her father died, my friend just sort of threw her life away. She began taking drugs and hanging out with people that she never would have hung out with before. I was surprised to hear her voice on the phone last night. She told me she dreamt about her dad and that her dad wants her to go back to how she once was. I think that got her to think about getting herself treated. I told her I’d help her find a treatment center.
