A woman asked a question about stage 2 cancer. She pleaded for help as she asked multiple questions in her additional details about how to address the problem. Can you tell me if my response was deserving of “report abuse” by a Yahoo user other than the woman. If I am violating guidelines in any way, then I gladly appreciate an eye opener. my brother does not have a job but is extremely addicted to drugs. he is willing to get help but cannot afford to. he lives in ohio if that helps

I live in Washington, but our state medical (it’s Medicaid in my state) will pay for Drug Treatment. There are some income guidelines but they are higher than the welfare limits if a person is seeking treatment for addiction.

Friends of mine have an adult child who has already been through short term drug and alcohol rehab (2 weeks to 30 days) treatments, only to relapse. He needs longer term treatment to address the psychological problems associated with addiction; but like millions of other Americans he has no insurance.
Is anyone aware of any long term treatment centers that may help him?

Yes, there are but there is no national program that sponsors them.

it is for a dirty urine while on probation so i guess it is a probation violation

Is it for drug offense? There is one in Lexington KY for offenders, would need more information.
