I’ve decided to get myself some help and need advice on treatment centers. I need a place that specializes in mental-illness(more specifically, bipolar) along with drug and alcohol addiction. I haven’t the slightest clue how to locate a quality program and need some help. If anyone knows of any or has gone through a similar situation, please share.

Our tax dollars are paying for a lot of people’s drug addictions. I know here in California, most people on welfare are also on some type of drug abuse. They will take the General Relief money and Food Stamps and feed their drug habit instead of the kids. I believe they should all be subject to drug testing to receive benefits from our tax money and continue with unannounced drug testing to continue to receive payments. We the tax payers have a right to where the money is going.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about buprenorphine as a detox option, but I know that a lot of people are still banking on methadone as a good way of detoxing. * Repeated physical violence or grossly abusive conduct directed against the petitioner, a common child, or a child of the petitioner;
* Physical violence or moral pressure to compel the petitioner to change religious or political affiliation;
* Attempt of respondent to corrupt or induce the petitioner, a common child, or a child of the petitioner, to engage in prostitution, or connivance in such corruption or inducement;
* Final judgment sentencing the respondent to imprisonment of more than six years, even if pardoned;
* Drug addiction or habitual alcoholism of the respondent;
* Lesbianism or homosexuality of the respondent;
* Contracting by the respondent of a subsequent bigamous marriage, whether in the Philippines or abroad;
* Sexual infidelity or perversion;
* Attempt by the respondent against the life of the petitioner; or
* Abandonment by respondent without justifiable cause for more than a year
The aforementioned grounds are from 1988 Family Code of the Philippines/Executive order no. 209, Title II.
