I have a very important family member that suffered from alcohol addiction when they were younger. Then that person went 20 years completely sober, and now recently that person has fallen back into their old ways. Are there any books you could recommend that focus around addiction (especially alcohol) and triumph over it and how they had the strength to overcome it? There was a former CNN anchor that was on CNN a few weeks back promoting her book which mentioned how she was able to get passed her alcohol addiction, but I unfortunately am unable to remember the title. Thanks for any help you can give.

Not unless a judge signs off on it and makes it a court order. When you are 19 you are legally an adult and parents have no control over you anymore.

I want to try another method, I want to show him his future. I’ve read an article a few weeks ago which claims that getting high on drugs is like getting the best sex you’ve ever had in your life. If this is true then most people who have friends or relatives that are into drugs can save a lot of money from spending on drug rehabs. Now, if this is the case, is it appropriate to say that all drug addicts should just get a hooker and get the best sex of their lives to help them recover from their addiction? This seems to be a very interesting point to ponder on if all the facts are true about sex and drugs. I hope you can also share your take on this matter.
