I am nineteen years old and I am finally willing to commit to a rehab program. I was wondering if anyone had good/bad experiences with any rehab centers here in oklahoma or surrounding states?
I am struggling with self injury and alcohol/drug abuse.

My question is will they drug test me throughout this rehab session as living three months would be hell.

Yes rehab will test you, they will assume the worst about people in the program, they are going to monitor each and everything about you during your rehab,

I can’t say for sure, since I’ve never had the experience. What you can do throughout the entire day is really up to the staff and whatever their policies and restrictions for visitors are.

I want to find drug rehabs because I want to know what it takes to become a counselor in one. I have known a few friends who have gotten themselves addicted to various kinds of drugs and I want to help people like them. I’m currently studying psychology and I want to ask drug rehabs in this area about their requirements before one becomes a counselor.

Is internet access allowed while in rehab (drug and/or psychiatric)? I know it must depend on the center, but generally is it more of a yes or no? What are the limitations, etc? Or, could anybody direct me to a site where this info is discussed?

Most drug rehabs don’t even allow phone calls from the immediate family for the first week or more.
Most (93%) rehabs are crash courses in AA/NA dogma, like re-education camps, they do not want distractions to their programs and severely limit outside contact.

I am trying to find some movies about drugs specifically Heroin or any opiates. I am interested in movies that either deal with addiction, or just simply the use, they can be about anything really not just related to rehab just have to have Heroin use or Oxycontin or any opiates in them. I know this is probably an obvious answer, and it’s not really a newer movie, but Requiem For A Dream is an excellent film about drugs.
