I’m on the kansas version Medicaid. I have never used it though. Does his booklet that came with Medi-cal list the drug treatment programs? Or could his social security worker tell you who would take him for rehab? In the KS book there was a short list of who would treat drug/alcohol abuse.

There is an old saying “Statistics means never having to say you’re certain.” In the context of hypothesis tests, why might this be true?
A. It’s just a joke on statisticians, and literally means nothing.
B. It isn’t — if I get a P-value of 0.0000001 (or less) I’m sure the null hypothesis is wrong.
C. To be totally confident, I would need a P-value of exactly 0.000000000, which is impossible.

ok so i got a cut on my foot u kno right were u r suppose to kick a soccer ball i was at a country club and it had a water slide and it was on the deck were u suppose to go down the slide and well i was standin to the side of the slide and i slipped i caught myself with the bar above the slide (were u swing yourself onto the slide) and my foot got cut on the bottom part of the slide and it cut it anyway i got it last friday and it still is tender and hurts it is a little pink around it and its red and green in the middle does it sound inffected cuz like i am scared…

I am 22 years old male who has Kallmann Syndrome, a very rare genetic disorder. I have experienced 3 very bad endocrinologists who knew little of my condition or the side effects of the drug they prescribe to me.
For example, the other day I was with my PRIMARY CARE doctor and was going to make another referral, and she asked me if I did any cholesterol tests because people taking testosterone will have higher cholesterol level. Guess what? This is the first time I ever heard of it. Nor did any of them order a test for me.
Also, my mother is studying for medical school (another specialty) and she was reading her book (the general knowledge book that all doctors have to learn) and the book says testosterone has multiple side effects. It didn’t say if you take too much, it is going to have side effects; it says this will have side effects. Guess what these “specialist” say? No, this is perfectly safe. I will be fine with the answer that these side effects are minimum, but their answers show that they knew nothing!!!
So, I am tired of getting bad doctors so can you tell me where/how can I find a good doctor who knew what he/she is doing?
