Can You Become a Pharmacy Technician With a History of Substance Abuse?

Question by Jay: Can you become a pharmacy technician with a history of substance abuse?
Hi I admitted myself to inpatient rehab for opiate substance abuse 3 times in the last 2 years. From what I understand that information is confidential. I no longer use illicit substances. Can I become a certified pharmacy tech? I live in OK, USA.

On the pharmacy tech application, they ask if you habitually use alcohol, illegal or habit-forming drugs. Sounds like they ask if you currently use drugs. They ask you to complete an addendum with info about the situation. Do you think that you can handle working in this type of environment with your past history? I wouldn’t want to be tempted and just one slip up can be very bad.

How Will I Be Able to Find Substance Abuse Treatment Centers in Montville, New Jersey?

Question by carlee 3xf: How will I be able to find substance abuse treatment centers in Montville, New Jersey?
Ever since her father died, my friend just sort of threw her life away. She began taking drugs and hanging out with people that she never would have hung out with before. I was surprised to hear her voice on the phone last night. She told me she dreamt about her dad and that her dad wants her to go back to how she once was. I think that got her to think about getting herself treated. I told her I’d help her find a treatment center.

Anyone Else on Clonopin for Anxiety? How Do You Feel It Works for You?

Question by *Rena*: Anyone else on Clonopin for anxiety? How do you feel it works for you?
I am on clonopin for anxiety, and after having been on Xanax and Valium,I’ve found it’s the one that works best for me. How does anyone else that takes this medication feel? Does it work for you? Just getting a general consensus if this is one of the better medications for anxiety/panic attacks, but for me it’s worked great. The Xanax is far far too addicting, and caused me drug addiction problems for awhile, the valium just didn’t seem to work, but the Clonopin seems to effect me how I need it to. How bad does someone’s anxiety have to be usually before they prescribe Clonopin for it? I know that I’ve got severe severe anxiety, along with Agoraphobia, and the clonopin has seemed to help me the most with all of it. What have been other people’s results with this medication? It’s worked great for me,especially for the social anxiety problems that I have, but just for the overall anxiety in general. The others were ok,the xanax worked for a long time, but then it stopped working (developed a tolerance to it,and they couldn’t/wouldn’t up my dose) so I switched, and I feel that the clonopin has done wonders for me vs all of the other ones! I was just wondering what other people’s reactions to this medication has been?

Because when people (with a brain and a slight I.Q.) do drugs. They realize this world compared to the one they were tripping in is complete trash, therefore they realize social institutions are all illogical ballsh*t made up by old f*cks so they can fill there pockets at the loss of there citizens.

What Are Symptoms of Teen Depression?

Question by Katana: What are symptoms of teen depression?
I’ve been very irritable lately. I get very upset over the littlest things and I don’t know why. I have no desire to do things I used to love. Nothing sounds fun anymore. I usually just end up isolating myself in my room all day, but I feel very lonely. I have trouble staying asleep, I either eat too much or barely at all. Could these be signs of depression? Also, both my mom and dad have pretty severe depression and take medication for it. I’ve had this on and off for a while and I’m not too sure what to do about it. If it is depression of some sort, what are treatment options and how do I tell my mom that I’m depressed. Answers are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
