Is Dedicating Ones Life to Religion Worse Than Dedicating Ones Life to Drug Addiction?

Question by Desiree: Is dedicating ones life to religion worse than dedicating ones life to drug addiction?
Drug addiction typically only causes damage to one person’s life – the drug addict. But religion causes damage to not just the religion addict but to almost everyone they contact throughout their life, especially their children, right? So in most cases, it would be better for humanity if religious people lived their lives in a drug induced haze rather than to have them screwing up their children’s minds, spreading their ridiculous beliefs to other people and voting for corrupt politicians who use religion to gain power, right?

Like a mental health facility that someone could go for a week or so that would consist of intensive therapy, like a drug/alcohol rehab would? For people on the verge of a breakdown or something?
Oh, and this is just a question, it’s not me I’m talking about.

If you really feel on the verge of a mental health crisis, see if your area has a women’s mental health crisis centre. You can usually refer yourself, although they will want to be able to contact your GP.

In the State of Florida, Is Voluntarily Entering a Rehab Clinic Considered a Violation of Probation?

Question by Kevin: In the state of Florida, is voluntarily entering a rehab clinic considered a violation of probation?
My friend is more than half-way through her two year probation (& somehow hasn’t failed any drug tests), but has recently begun abusing painkillers again. Her parents sent her to a detox center for a week & are now entering her into a rehab program that will last six months. She is going willingly. Assuming that they don’t have a problem with her changing addresses, would they have a problem with this? It’s a positive choice, but it’s also an admission of guilt.
