How Will I Find the Right Addiction Treatment Center for My Cousin in Sayreville, New Jersey?
Question by aditi s: How will I find the right addiction treatment center for my cousin in Sayreville, New Jersey?
We’ve always been close and it never occurred to me that she might someday get addicted to alcohol. She was always the one who shied away from the “bad” stuff. Now she regrets having succumbed to the throes of alcoholism. She’s asking for my help in finding the right addiction treatment center for her. How will I do this?

Becoming an Electrophysiologist?
Question by QQQQQQQQQQ: Becoming an electrophysiologist?
I want to become an electrophysiologist (in Canada) when I’m older (Grade 11 now) as my mom has told me about it and works in a similar (sort of) field of work. So from Grade 12 and after, can you tell me what I would have to do or what would happen and everything? Electrophysiology is a special cardiologist pretty much! Your help would be awesome, thanks!

Does Anyone Know of Any Free Drug/alcohol Rehabs in So Cal?
Question by Skull Boy: Does anyone know of any free drug/alcohol rehabs in So Cal?
I have a nephew that has a really bad alcohol and speed addiction. He’s been in the emergency room several times over the past two years and almost died the last time. He needs to go a rehab center, but the family can’t afford it. Does anyone know of any free rehab centers in So Cal? He lives in Victorville CA, but will travel if needed. It needs to be a place where he can stay. Out patient won’t work for him I’m afraid.

Whatever Happened to Cash for Service With the Medical Profession?
Question by pdooma: Whatever happened to Cash for Service with the medical profession?
When did the insurance industry get involved in all this? It seems like all they’ve done is jack up prices, restrict care, and given everyone a headache.
Do you think a return to cash for service, where the fees and treatment are determined between the doctor and the patient, would just be a simpler option? Less paperwork. Less headache. Better care. Lower costs for preventative medicine. I suppose the sticking point is when you’re having major surgery or come down with Cancer. But then insurance companies reject that anyway…
