What Do You Do if Someone You Love Is Poison to You?

Question by MOSS: What do you do if someone you love is poison to you?
They love drugs. I have already asked this question and got the answer. And I already know the answer in the back of my head, but I think my feelings and emotions are just blinding me. Can you please reassure me what I know I’m supposed to do? I’m just finding it really hard to digest that I can’t be with the one person I loved when I thought it was impossible to open ny heart.

Can Somebody Explain Why Mexico Would Even Have Drug Rehab Centers Since Mexico Says Its Only a US Problem?

Question by I’m gonna start another riot: Can somebody explain why Mexico would even have drug rehab centers since Mexico says its only a US problem?
Even for regular families with addicts, drug centers can be ugly places. Parents commit unruly adolescents or even their adult children against their will for months at a time. Beatings are often part of therapy, hygiene can be poor and lax enforcement of regulations prevails.

No one knows how many drug rehabilitation clinics and treatment centers there are. The Mexican government is expanding a series of Nueva Vida rehab centers for teenagers, erected since 2007 with $ 205 million confiscated from a Shanghai -born drug trafficker.

Explain What Mandatory Minimum Sentencing Is and How It Applies to Current Legal Situations. Is It Working?

Question by [email protected]: Explain what mandatory minimum sentencing is and how it applies to current legal situations. Is it working?

Best answer:

Answer by BeachBum
A mandatory sentence is a court decision setting where judicial discretion is limited by law. Typically, people convicted of certain crimes must be punished with at least a minimum number of years in prison. Mandatory sentencing laws vary from country to country.

Adherents of mandatory sentencing believe that it reduces crime and ensures uniformity in sentencing. Potential criminals and repeat offenders are expected to avoid crime because they can be certain of their sentence if they are caught.

What Happens at a Drug Treatment Facility?

Question by wonderwoman: What happens at a drug treatment facility?
Someone I know just entered a New York State run drug rehabilitation facility. What happens while he is there? Will I be able to visit? When will he leave? If anyone is willing to share a personal experience I would greatly appreciate it.

Call the clinic and ask them, not us. They probably have there own standards they meet and the patients have to meet them. Not all clinics have the same goals or the way they reach them, what is of concern to them. Call them.
