What Kind of Specialist or Doctor Would You See for a Food Addiction?

Question by Lovely: What kind of specialist or doctor would you see for a food addiction?
i’m very curious so any information would be greatly appreciated.

only serious answers please.
i dont think you understand a food addiction. the addiction is not eating when you’re hungry it’s eating when you’re NOT hungry. eating when you’re hungry is obviously normal and healthy. eating when you’re NOT hungry is unhealthy. it’s an eating dissorder, but most people aren’t aware of it. people feel sorry for those who suffer from bulemia or anorexia, yet are disgusted by people who have food addiction, yet they’re all one in the same. what gives?
