Someone who is related to me has moved near me recently after her husband died, she is known for child/drug abuse by nearly everyone yet no one has really done much. She went to prison once before and not one person wants to do it again, anyways.

My big brother is having a relationship with Mary Jane (marijuana). He knows that it’s not good for him but he says he likes what it does to him so he continues to use it. The thing is, Mary Jane’s really affecting his life. He’s getting failing grades in school (he’s really smart so I don’t know how that happened) and he’s getting worse at baseball. He even spends more time locked up in his room with Mary Jane than hanging out with anyone else. I think he really needs help. He’s such a gifted person and I don’t want his talents to go into waste. We’re from Eastport, Maine.

I’m supposed to be starting IOP tomorrow morning hits can’t start until next week because I don’t have a ride yet to get there. The counselor told me that if anyone offers me drugs there to let them know and they will take care of it. Since I’m a drug addict, I know that I will not say no and snitch on the person. Am I better off going to IOP or inpatient rehab?
