One of my friends is struggling with marijuana addiction. This addiction is crushing our relationship. My friends and I don’t know what to do.
What should I do in this situation? I am a resident of Loma Linda, California.

Since Michael’s death, when talk show hosts (I’m not naming any names) do shows on prescription drug addictions, they ALWAYS refer back to “Michael Jackson died of a drug overdose”, as though Michael intentionally wanted to kill himself doing drugs. Does it tick you off that these talk show hosts are swaying their viewers to think that Michael was a drug addict? What do you think of them when they do that?

Hi my name is Melissa and quite frankly i am i tired of having my sister make my family’s life a living hell. She is 16, she goes out and parties every weekend, has sex does drugs, and fights with my mom. She has a serious problem. She has done stuff to make my mom look like the bad guy and she has had to go to court and pay huge fines for the things that she has done. I am thinking about talking to mom about sending her to military school, bording school, some sort of boot camp. Or something that can send her away so she can be changed into a better person. How do I report someone I care about for prescription abuse, prescription selling & going to more than one doctor for pain meds without them knowing about each other. She needs help & a reality check but I don’t want to call the police. I called one of the pharmacy where she goes & they told me there was nothing they could do about it because it was hearsay. I would have to call the police & tell them what she gets, who she sells it to, stuff I don’t know all the details about. & please don’t tell me to mind my own business, this is my business, she’s messing up everyone’s lives around her including small children.
I expect answers that tell me where to call. I’ve heard of people getting reported to their doctors without police involvement.
