This is for my brother. We’ve only just moved here at the beginning of the month, and he’s gotten himself into bad company already. They influenced him into taking drugs, and now he’s so much different from the way he was before. Sometimes I look at him and I wonder whether he’s the same brother that I used to climb trees with, the brother who used to help me with my homework. Last night, we got into a fight, and though he hurt me, it also made me realize that even though he’s a drug addict now, he’s still my brother, and I would do anything to get him to go back to the way he once was. Please help.

He was doing weed. Can you say WHY you think your answer because I know people say weed is less dangerous than alcohol and wouldn’t report someone for drinking but it’s an illegal drug and he’s underage

No. You should go to him and tell him that he needs to tell his mother, and if he doesn’t, you will. Don’t get him involved in the judicial system until you give him a chance to straighten it out at home.

I have a close friend of mine who’s almost gone insane because of heroin addiction. His family is now considering sending him to Singapore, a supposedly drug-free nation, to keep him off heroin. Is that a good idea?

i have a daughter with these diseasess i have been all through nj and philadelphia hospitals or childrens hospitals.they have not been able to control her seizures. can anyone give any ideas of where to go to get more opinions. foundations,childrens hospitals,etc,etc..

Buffalo, NY has a fabulous Childrens Hospital. You may need a referal from her Pediatrican.
