Question by emptybliss76: I’m making a dare (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) poster and need ideas?
My 5th grade DARE officer told us there was a poster contest and that the three winners from each class will get a prize and their name announced at graduation. I need a good idea to enter the contest. It has to be easy to look at, and i can use computer generated pictures, pictures from magizines, or draw them myself. It has to contain a few facts on drugs. Oh, and it has to be do by April 24th.

I only have a GED what must I do to get a job at a treatment center for drugs and alcohol. I was an addict and now have 12 years clean and want to work as an addiction concealer doing classes and give assessments so I need collage but don’t know what courses to take here in washington state

I believe there is a certificate program for drug and alcohol counseling. Make an appointment with a counselor at a local community college and get info on the track you need to take.

drug tests during pregnancy because i just had a baby and during all my visits she never did one to me and do they really check your baby after he/she is born to see if there are drugs in their system?? Just wondering somebody told me that and i dont believe my doc did this…

drug test on a newborn/during pregnancy? i highly doubt that a drug test on a newborn is necessary. on the mother, never heard of that, unless they suspect that you are doing drugs and your baby may be at risk.

I know you don’t see it but almost all people who commit serious crime, murder, rape, kidnapping, violent crime, muggings knife & gun crime & probably many other sorts all of them used drugs

My best friend is addicted to a online game called “Runescape”.
He stays on Runescape all day and doesn’t get off.
Do you have any suggestions on how to break his addiction? It is not healthy to stay on a game this long. He barely sleeps, or eats. And, all he can talk about is that game. How can I break his addiction?

How can I break his addiction? Remember he is only a 3rd grader. He has been playing, and he hasn’t gotten bored of it. I do not want him to be addicted to another game.
