Hair testing for signs of drug/alcohol abuse. I am aware that urinalysis/breath testing is quite common to determine an offender’s history of use/abuse, but is hair testing ever used?

Currently, hair testing is the most foolproof test, but also the most expensive to administer. It is not used in Ohio for that reason. To the best of my knowledge, there is no plan in effect to bring that on line anytime in the future either. I hope this helps you.

My one sister just got married and is having her wedding reception down in Ohio and we are up in Michigan. My other sister wants to go and nobody wants to take her due to the fact that she causes drama on road trips and also at family functions on pain medication. This has been ongoing for about 8-10 years and I don’t know if I should check her baggage completely or just leave her here. The drama is already starting. She says that she’s not going to do it, and then she does. What do I do?

Drug addiction is an equal opportunity killer. Find a good rehab and don’t worry if it is “christian” or not. He wasn’t living by religious rules before and sobriety is the only thing that he needs now. I know…I have been in recovery for over 15 yrs and am Jewish.
