One of the books I’m writing is about a girl who has to watch as her sister falls into drug addiction. So I was jsut wondering what sites, apart from Talk to Frank, would be good to try and figure out how it would affect her, as well as her sister and the rest of her family – especially because I’m uncertain as to whether I’m going to do multiple character’s POVs.

I am needing to move out of the town im in now in a Florida due to a Drug addiction I have just gottan back from rehab and before it gets really bad again I Really need to move away ASAP but I dont have much money, and if i move i wanna move to a REALLY Small Country Redneck Town in Central Florida. When a person goes to A.A. or drug rehab they’re told to trust in god and god will help them quit and when they do they become rehabilitated and not alcoholic and drug addict. So god must exists otherwise how can they quit?
@Welltravledprog YOU FAIL! House is an atheist that’s why he went back on drugs. If he accepted god he wouldn’t do drugs.

My son has been hooked to drugs since his college years. After high school, he decided to move out of the house. He told me he tried drugs only so he can fit in. He never thought he’d get hooked. But now that he’s been out of school for two years now and is still hooked to the habit, I am very much worried about him and his future. What should I tell him to give drug rehabilitation a try?

What do you mean ? Can some on elaborate on this?
Note Some doctors believe the DRD2 gene causes some people to be prone to drugs ,drinking ,partying and sex .Not sure how this ties in with the above .

My husband was admitted to a rehab facility 60 miles away from me on Friday after walking to his unioon representative and telling them he had a problem. I had no idea but he had been taking xanax that was prescribed by a doctor since august, was taking them before that by getting them off the streets and has been on prescription pain killers (i knew that) for about a year but he runs out about 2 weeks early and gets them off the street. He has had an emtional relationship with another woman for the last 2 months through text messaging… all kinds of stuff is coming out now that he is there. I am going to an al-anon meeting locally on thursday but am having a really hard time finding support for people with family members who are abusing narcotic prescription drugs. Does anyone know of any online resources?? I live in Indiana…
