Since he is an adult I was told there is nothing you can do if he doesn’t want to get help. He is slowly killing himself and he thinks he can stop his drinking on his own but now he is getting seizures and hallucinations because he thinks if he detoxes himself every few weeks he’ll be ok. The police know him by name now but he hasn’t been arrested because of it.

He doesn’t and hasn’t wanted to play any part in his life, and still refuses to believe my son is his. he is not a fit parent by any means ( been to rehab twice and didn’t complete the programs, has abused many drugs, and has been to jail, and has not done anything to get better). he also has a daughter that he hasn’t seen in almost a year by a differrent mother. would i be able to get child support from him without him being able to see the baby? i live in oklahoma while he lives in arizona.

there were no drugs with the needle. i had other drug charges in a different state that i have done no real convictions i didn’t have a needle exchange card either so what do you think will happen? i live in boston ma, thanks

for your sake, you will be sent to mandatory rehab and you will clean up your act. get on with living, or get on with dieing…..its your choice.

A woman I know of is most likely going to lose her kids due to abuse. Kentucky social services is talking about giving “indefinate” custody to one of the kids’ (divorced) grandparents or other relatives like an aunt or uncle.
How will they determine who will get the children? Living conditions, location (as in how close to the mother), financial stability, etc? Can an unmarried, heterosexual, financially stable couple ask for custody? How much will small-town politics help someone who doesn’t deserve the kids gain custody? If custody is granted to someone and they move in with the mother, will social services re-take the kids?

I am a volunteer for a non profit drug rehab home that just started as of the first of this month. But, poor planning on the part of the owners they didn’t figure in how they would get food, medical services, or other things. I am not a PR person. I volunteer to do odd office jobs. How would I go about seeking services or food from companies? All help would be great.Thanks
