im in a group of kids at school and i live in michigan, macomb. and i was wondering if there was any centers we could help get involved in with rehab? please gimme a link.. thank you
i dont believe i made myself clear.. i dont NEED rehab, i was just wondering if there was any way to volunteer and help people in rehab..

just do lots of drugs, get arrested and say that you will go to rehab.

How you feel in their presence makes the difference. If they make you feel uncomfortable in any way…pick another therapist. You should feel comfortable & safe enough to tell them anything.

Someone told me years ago that many medical doctors and dentist have substance abuse issues with drugs and alcohol! Not much from street drugs on the corner, but more towards prescription drugs.
Any truth to this?

I’m just curious to see what everyone thinks…
My uncle is in his late 50’s and he has been an addict for several years. He seems to have severe psychological problems due to his constant use of crack cocaine. His siblings, who are known to be uneducated about the effects of drug abuse, claim that he is “too far gone.” They don’t believe that anything would be able to help him… Basically, they are giving up. I can see that he is showing signs of chronic paranoia and schizophrenia, but is it ever too late to get a person help with an addiction?

operational definition is how you define these concepts such as bullying, mental illness, drug abuse, physical abuse.
