A month prior to age 19, I found myself hooked on pain meds. I do NOT need a rant, I do not need to hear what I did wrong and how stupid I was.
I started anywhere from one loritab 10-500 every few hours and by the time I was admitted into rehab I was easily taking 48 10-500’s a day. I began mixing xanax, etc… Regardless, I HAVE BEEN SOBER NOW FOR OVER 1 YEAR.

Think about all the things you see on Health and News channels all the talk about smoking, drinking, drug abuse. Do you really know what the MOST intoxicating thing you could do to your body? We do it everyday unknowingly and care-free but it injures our bodies! Serious answers only!

i want to want to become a drug/alcohol counselor, for a intermediate carrier goal, the certificate only takes a year or so. i been going to college for 2 yrs, and this summer i am planning on taking this summer off and no class, and i really want to do some out of the box activities that i like.

Can the already developed ova that are in a woman’s body from birth be damaged from years of hard drug use, specifically opiate, marijuana and cocaine abuse? I am curious to know if the child of a former heroin addict is at risk of being born with any birth defects both physical and mental. The mother has been free from drugs for six years. I want to know if ova can be altered while dormant in the ovaries and lead to problems years later if the egg is fertilized. Thank you.
