This is in Ramsey County Minnesota. The mother has no violent crime history, and is a felon due to the fact that there was crystal meth in her car when they arrested her for shoplifiting some chicken salad from a grocery store. She has horrible ADD, like I have never seen or heard of, truly, she can’t recall or focus on ANYTHING. Anyhow, she needs a good long treatment, not to be thrown into a population of other felons, which is totally proven to not help her in any way as far as I have ever read or seen. The parole officer is an angry-seeming bloke who is hell-bent on putting her behind bars. She is an IV drug user as of a few months ago, having moved it up from smoking meth for years past. What is goofy is that he wants her in jail first, then treatment. HELP

The question is if someone is caught with possession of marijuana (one ounce or less for their personal use) they should get it taken away and a fine for $ 100 if you are over 18. If under 18 you get it taken away $ 100 fine the police notify your parents and a one year drug rehab.If not finished under a year you have to pay $ 1000 fine. I personally vote YES because if u make a mistake you shouldn’t be penalized for the rest of your life. You can’t get a good ,well paying job because you had possession.

i a tenured doctor at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. i am also the the Department of Diagnostic Medicine so i think i can tell you a bit about vicodin….
not to many years ago my right leg was severly damaged and i suffered from idiosyncratic infarction it went undiagnosed for two days and This missed diagnosis by hmy doctors caused muscle death in my quadricep. and for my pain i was taking vicodin.
